2013년 첫 솔로곡 '섬머 걸(Summer Girl)'을 공개하며 음악활동의 시작을 알린 앤마리는 추후 드럼 앤 베이스와 소울을 소화하는 영국 밴드 루디멘탈(Rudimental)과 협업하며 이름을 알렸다. 루디멘탈 보컬리스트의 부재를 완벽하게 채우며 '위 더 제너레이션(We the Generation)' 앨범 중 4개의 수록곡에 피처링을 도맡아 2년에 걸쳐 월드투어를 함께 하기도 했다.
