첼로가야금 듀오는 두 악기의 서로 다른 전통적인 특징들이 만나 하나의 새로운 음악을 완성시킨다는 목적과 의미를 가지고 있다. 동서양의 조화, 익숙함과 새로움의 만남으로 만들어지는 첼로가야금의 음악이 실은 우리의 삶에 서로 다름을 발견해 내는 즐거움, 이 ‘다름’이 만나 ‘새로움’을 만들어 내는 일련의 과정과 닮아있음을 대중과 함께 나누고 싶다.
