불후의 명곡 등 여러 방송을 통해 우리 소리를 좀 더 친숙하고 다양하게 표현하고 있는 소리꾼 고영열이 한번쯤은 들어봤을 만한 판소리와 민요곡들을 모아, 피아노 및 재즈밴드와 함께 감성과 풍부함을 곡에 따라 온몸으로 표현하는 무용수까지 함께 관객들에게 감성적이고 현대적인 느낌으로 다시 태어난 판소리와 민요를 들려주며, 곡 중간 중간 곡을 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 설명함으로서, 조금은 낯설게 느껴질 수 있는 우리의 소리를 쉽고 재미있게 접할 수 있도록 구성했습니다.
