About the performance

임용주는 농악과 사물놀이를 공부하였고 전통 장단의 구조와 균형미를 토대로 사운드 메이킹 및 음악작업을 하고 있다. 현재 한국전통음악 기반의 창작음악집단인 월드뮤직그룹 '공명'의 멤버로서 다양한 소재로부터 새로운 악기제작을 통한 창작음악활동을 하고 있다. 또한 모듈라서울(Modular Seoul)의 운영진으로서 전자음악 공연 시리즈를 제작 및 운영하고 있으며 특히 전통음악과 전통악기의 실험적인 참여를 주도하고 있다.
