'Grains of Waves'는 피리를 해체하고 재구성으로 작업되었다. 피리에 의해 만들어진 소리들은 전자 음향 장치에 의해 해체된 후 특정 알고리즘에 따라 재구성되어 새로운 피리 사운드로 창출되고, 만들어진 소리는 악기의 주법과 전자음악의 기법이라는 내러티브에 따라 엮이고 발전되어 음악으로 만들어진다.
