2PM 택연은 12월 23일부터 총 3일간 청담동 일지아트홀에서 ＇2016 외로운 옥캣의 크리스마스 이벤트＇를 열고 팬들을 만난다. 옥캣(OKCAT)은 택연이 데뷔 시절부터 즐겨 그리던 고양이 캐릭터로, 2013년부터 캐릭터 상품으로 제작되면서 많은 사랑을 받아왔다. 택연은 2013년부터 매년 크리스마스마다 이벤트를 진행했으며, 올해에는 큰 인기에 힘입어 회차를 늘려 5회로 진행한다. 특히 군입대 전 마지막 크리스마스인 만큼 팬들에게도, 본인에게도 더욱 특별하게 기억될 수 있도록 알찬 볼거리를 준비했다는 후문이다. 택연에게는 군입대 전 마지막 크리스마스를 팬들과 함께 장식하고, 팬들은 크리스마스를 택연과 함께 보내는 뜻 깊은 행사가 될 전망이다.
