연극배우 윤석화는 1975년 연극 ‘꿀맛’으로 데뷔한 후 50년 가깝게 무대를 지켜오며 명실공히 한국 연극을 대표하는 스타로 자리매김했다. “숨가쁘게 살아가는 관객을 극장으로 불러들여 영혼을 치유해주는 외로운 광대”라고도 평가받는 그녀는 연극으로서 관객에게 끊임없이 자기성찰의 질문을 던져 삶을 꺠우쳐주는 이 시대의 몇 안되는 진정한 배우다.
