골든 스윙 밴드는 복잡하고 난해한 포스트 밥 일색의 음악이 만연하고 있는 한국의 재즈 환경에서 재즈의 가장 근원적인 미덕인 스윙과 스윙 보컬의 아름다움을 중심에 세운재즈 밴드를 구상하고 한국재즈 씬을 대표했던 드러머 오종대(동아방송대 실용음악과 교수)를 중심으로 2012년에 결성되었다!골든 스윙 밴드는 재즈 클럽에서의 리허설, 라이브를 통해 재즈 팬들의 목마름을 확인할 수 있었고, 자라섬 재즈페스티벌, 자라섬 리듬 앤 바비큐 페스티벌,2015트라이볼 재즈페스티벌을 비롯해서 서울, 부산, 대구, 제주 등의 전국 음악
